ilmdiya is built by Innovista in Islamabad, Pakistan.
In Urdu, ilm means knowledge and a diya is the small lamp that lights a room. That is the idea behind the name: one teacher's lesson, carried to every student who needs it.
We started with a simple belief: teachers should teach, students should learn, and software should make both easier, not harder.
Most learning platforms are designed for wealthy universities abroad, priced in dollars per student and too complicated for a busy teacher with a basic phone. ilmdiya is designed the other way round: for Pakistani classrooms, slow mobile internet and institutions that need predictable costs.
What we believe
- Human-led education first. Teachers stay in charge of teaching.
- Simple beats clever. A teacher should publish a lecture in under five minutes.
- Fair pricing. No per-student fees.
- Your data is yours. Each institution's records are kept separate and private.
